SALON, that Bistro Award winning, MAC Award nominated open mic created and hosted by Mark Janas, returns to Etcetera, Etcetera - 352 West 44th Street, NYC 10036 - on Sunday, May 2nd from 7PM to 10:30PM.
The optional theme for the evening is "It Better Be Funny!” But remember, any material, on or off theme, is always welcome at Salon! Our Co-Host for the evening will be the Hilarious Danny Leary! Danny will be appearing in at The Hollywood Improv's Special All Star Gay Pride Show, Wednesday, June 2nd at 8pm. Our Special Guest will be the National Headliner, TV & Radio Personality Karith Foster! Karith is best known as Don Imus' sidekick on his nationally syndicated “Imus in the Morning” radio
There will be a $10 cash cover at the door, collected by 'Etceterette', Dani Rhodes, and a $10 food/drink minimum (cash or credit) per person. The menu is affordable and delicious. It is worth mentioning that several Salon members are participating in “A Benefit for Zani's Furry Friends” at Birdland, 315 West 44th St., NYC 10036, Saturday. May 1st at 5pm.
