Adam started the night with “Music of the Night,”, and Janice followed with "Love Song To A Vampire." They started the second set with Janice singing "The Kind That Falls" and Adam singing "In Times Like These ..." (dressed as Cruella de Vil), and they closed the show with a medley of "I Won't Dance/A Fine Romance/Witchcraft." I wasn't able to get pictures of all the costumes, but trust that they were phenomenal.
Salon Spotlight
Wow! What a Spotlight this was! We had the incredible Olivia Perrin and Emily Kay! Olivia and Emily will be performing at Don't Tell Mama on November 5th at 7pm. Olivia started off the Spotlight singing "Cabaret," and Emily followed with a power-house "Just Keep Moving' The Line." They ended with the legendary Judy/Barbara medley "Get Happy/Happy Days Are Here Again."
Quick Wrap-Up - Classical Corner
Mark Janas and Matthew Martin Ward teamed up to play a two-piano version of “Night on Bald Mountain” (which you’ll remember from Fantasia and other works)! And it was amazing! For more info on “Night on Bald Mountain,” here’s a link to Wikipedia. Matthew ended CC by brilliantly playing a piece from Modest Mussorgsky's "Pictures From An Exhibition."
