The Salon Wrap-Up for July 27, 2014 - "It's Still Rock & Roll To Me"

July 27, 2014
Theme: “It’s Still Rock & Roll To Me”

Huzzah! I don’t think I’ve been a part of a Salon crowd with so much clapping & snapping along, or audience supplied riffs - what a delightfully fun evening of song and merriment we had this Sunday at Etc Etc.

Our Guest Host/Pianist was Multiple MAC & Bistro Award Winner Steven Ray Watkins! As an actor he has appeared in THE LAST SESSION, JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR and in the national tours of BIG, SINGIN' IN THE RAIN and SHOWBOAT. As a musician, he has worked as a session player, a musical/vocal director in the theater and arranger/musical director in cabaret with such names as Patti LuPone, John Turturro, Karen Mason, Amanda McBroom, Lennie Watts and Sharon McNight, among many others. For more information, you can find Steven on Facebook.

“Goodbye Yellow Brick Road” (Elton John)
“Athens Grease” (Phil Vassar)
