Our Salon Spotlights: Teresa Eggersten-Cooke, visiting from Park City, Utah, accompanying herself beautifully singing "The Rose". Then Mark played for her as she sang: The Italian translation of a song from the film "Cinema Paradiso" and finished with her '20 dollar song': "Send In The Clowns". She made it her own... Teresa appeared last night at The Metropolitan Room. Follow her on Facebook, YouTube and at http://teresaeggertsencooke.com/ So sorry I missed her show.
Quick Wrap: Classical Corner was Len Cariou's surprise appearance-see below.
Len Cariou- (Broadway's original Sweeney Todd among other inaugural roles), was our second very special guest singer, singing highlights from his "Broadway and The Bard" show, singing his opening and closing numbers. Can't wait to see it as he wonderfully pairs sonnets and soliloquy with songs apropos to the text. BRUSH UP YOUR SHAKESPEARE!
